Our Policies

Overview

All products purchased from Minisforum’s refurbished store (refurbished.minisforum.com) are covered by a one-year limited warranty. We provide comprehensive after-sales support to all customers.

If you need any assistance, please contact us at refurbished@minisforum.com.The warranty period is 12 months, starting from the date of receipt.

No Change-of-Mind Returns

Returns are only accepted for defective or incorrect items. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases

Note:

For products purchased through third-party platforms or retailers, please contact the respective seller directly for any refund, replacement, or after-sales service requests.

For commercial, rental, or bulk orders, please contact refurbished@minisforum.com directly.

Refurbished products do not include a docking base.

Terms of Warranty

Before requesting a refund or replacement, please confirm your order status with us.

1. Pending Orders (In-stock or Pre-sale Products)

If your order has not yet shipped, you may request a full refund at any time before shipment. Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days.

2. Shipped Orders

2.1 Warranty Coverage

1-Year Limited Warranty: Effective from the customer’s receipt date.

30-Day Return/Replacement for Quality Issues: If a product is found to be defective within 30 days of receipt, it may be returned or replaced at no cost.

Dead on Arrival (DOA): For products damaged upon arrival, customers may request a return or replacement within 7 days of delivery. Minisforum will cover the shipping cost (see Section 2.2.2).

After 30 Days (Within Warranty Period): For issues occurring after 30 days but within 12 months, Minisforum will provide repair service or arrange a replacement unit.

Note:

Refurbished products may show minor cosmetic wear or usage marks. Such conditions are not considered defects.

2.2 Quality-Related Issues

2.2.1 Damaged Packaging or Missing Items

Damaged/Deformed Packaging

  1. If your package arrives damaged or deformed, please immediately file a claim with the courier and obtain a stamped confirmation slip.
  2. Contact us and include a detailed description along with photos of the damaged package and the confirmation slip.
  3. Once verified, you may request a full refund or replacement.

Missing Items

  1. Please carefully check package contents and weight before signing for delivery.
  2. If any item is missing, contact us via email with your order number (e.g., RE1000) and a detailed description (text/photos/videos).
  3. Upon verification, you may request a replacement or partial refund.

Note:
Minisforum will cover shipping costs for returns or replacements caused by packaging damage, missing items, or incorrect shipments.

Minisforum is not responsible for lost packages after successful delivery to the correct address (based on tracking information).

2.2.2 Dead on Arrival (DOA)

If your product arrives non-functional (“Dead on Arrival”), please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

  1. Include your order number (e.g., RE1000) and a detailed issue description (text/photos/videos) in your email.
  2. Once confirmed as DOA, we will provide a warehouse address for return shipment.
  3. After the DOA item is returned, customers may choose a full refund or replacement.

Minisforum will cover all return and replacement shipping costs related to DOA cases.

3. Return Conditions

  1. All returns must include all original accessories.
  2. Returns must be packaged in the original packaging or equivalent protective materials.
  3. All returns must be shipped to the designated Minisforum warehouse.
  4. Returns that do not meet these requirements may be refused.
  5. If the wrong item is returned, or the defective product is not received by Minisforum, the warranty will be void.

Note: According to our updated policy effective October 11 (applicable to orders placed on or after this date), returns for refurbished products are only accepted for devices that develop a fault within one month of delivery. Returns based on the buyer's personal preference or subjective reasons are not covered under this policy.

Please also note: minor cosmetic wear and normal battery capacity degradation on refurbished devices is an unavoidable part of the refurbishment process and does not affect the functionality of the device. Such cosmetic imperfections are not considered faults under this return policy.

Our free return policy applies only within the United States. For returns from outside the U.S., customers are responsible for all shipping costs and taxes. Refunds are not available for international returns.

4. Refund Policy

  1. Refunds are processed once the returned item has been received by Minisforum.
  2. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used for the original order.

    PayPal refunds may take up to 48 hours.
    Credit card or bank refunds may take 7–10 business days.

5. Replacement Policy

  • Additional remote area surcharges may apply for replacement shipments.
  • Tax-free shipping insurance applies only to the original shipment and expires after successful delivery.

    Customers who wish to avoid potential import duties on replacement shipments should repurchase the insurance.

6. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Normal wear and tear or aging from daily use
  • Bulk, rental, or commercial-use orders
  • Products without valid proof of purchase
  • Loss or theft during normal use
  • Products beyond the warranty period
  • Discontinued models with no remaining stock
  • Free gifts, promotional items, or resold/third-party transferred products
  • Repairs or modifications by unauthorized service providers
  • Intentional or accidental damage caused by human factors
  • Damage caused by force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters (hurricanes, floods, fires, earthquakes) or social events (strikes, wars, embargoes)
  • Improper use, including but not limited to: drops, exposure to extreme temperatures, liquid damage, improper operation, or incorrect hardware replacement

Products damaged due to human error or misuse are not eligible for warranty service or compensation.

Minisforum may offer replacement parts or products (subject to availability) at the customer’s expense, including shipping.

Damage caused by overclocking, even if enabled via Minisforum hardware/software, is not covered under warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

Except as expressly provided in this policy, Minisforum makes no other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.Minisforum shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, property damage, loss of use, business interruption, loss of profits, loss of data, or any other indirect or special damages.

Available countries and regions: Only the United States.

Shipping Fees & Time

We offer free shipping for the majority of the United States. Shipments to certain areas are temporarily unavailable. Please note that we do not cover remote area surcharges.Orders will be shipped within 7 business days after the payment is successfully processed. We will update the tracking number and the shipping information via email after the package is dispatched. Customers can also check the shipping information in the Order Status section of their MINISFORUM accounts. (If there is a change in delivery time, it will be marked on the purchase page.)

※ Please Note:

1. MINISFORUM creates the shipping label at the beginning of the process in order to start processing your order through customs. We do this to save time in customs, and that's why you will see the shipping status sometimes appear to be stuck in "Shipping label has been created" or "Shipment information received" status for a short time.

Shipping status will update once the package has been processed through customs (about 4-6 business days on average). You will receive your parcel within 2–3 weeks after it has cleared customs (please allow an extra week for shipping during holiday seasons).

Tariff Insurance

If customers are concerned about customs duties, please purchase tariff insurance. We will cover customs duties if your package needs customs clearance. (If your order is shipped from a US warehouse, no purchase is required.)

How it works:
1) Please purchase tariff insurance at checkout.
2) The package is shipped, and customers receive notification of customs duties from customs.
3) Please pay customs duties and keep the payment certificate.
4) Please send the payment certificate to us via email. We will verify it and refund the full amount of customs duties via the original payment method in 1 to 2 business days.

Order Cancellation

※ Please contact us first before canceling the order.

  1. The customer who cancels the order for personal reasons before delivery will be charged a 2% refund processing fee.
  2. Customers can't cancel the order if the products have been shipped, unless they bear the cost of all returned packages and 2% of the platform freight.

Delivery Address

A correct and complete address is necessary for delivery. Once your order is ready for shipment or has been shipped, the delivery address can NOT be changed.If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, we will contact you immediately to change the address. In this case, the customer is responsible for the shipping fee for the re-shipped package.※ A valid telephone number is necessary for the delivery address.※ Requires a physical address. Cannot ship to P.O. Boxes

Shipping Notification

Order(s) will be shipped by MINISFORUM. Customers will receive an auto-send shipping information email from MINISFORUM after the order is placed. If customers cannot find the email, please check the spam folder, and add MINISFORUM to the contact list.

Acceptance Of Order Terms

  1. Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel. MINISFORUM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being canceled include limitations on quantities available for purchase; inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information; or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verification or information before accepting any order.   4. You will bear all related liabilities and risks during the third-party transportation of your order.

  6. For warranty and return, users should agree with the terms of the return policy.

User's Responsibilities

  1. User must be registered on the Site to use some Services. Except with MINISFORUM's approval, one User may only register one user account on the Site. MINISFORUM may cancel or terminate a User's account if MINISFORUM has reason to suspect that the User has concurrently registered or controlled two or more user accounts. Further, MINISFORUM may reject the User's application for registration for any reason.
  2. Upon registration on the Site, MINISFORUM shall assign an account and issue a user ID and password (the latter shall be chosen by a registered User during registration) to each registered User. User agrees that all activities that occur under your account (including without limitation, posting any company or product information, clicking to accept any Additional Agreements or rules, subscribing to or making any payment for any services, sending emails using the email account) will be deemed to have been authorized by the User.
  5. User acknowledges that sharing your account with other people, or allowing multiple users to use your account (collectively, "multiple uses"), may cause irreparable harm to MINISFORUM or other Users of the Site. User shall indemnify MINISFORUM, our affiliates, directors, employees, agents, and representatives against any loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profits) suffered as a result of the multiple uses of your account. User also agrees that in the case of multiple uses of your account or User's failure to maintain the security of your account, MINISFORUM shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising from such a breach and shall have the right to suspend or terminate User's account without liability to User.
  6. User warrants that the information you have provided when registering your MINISFORUM account is accurate, truthful, legal, and valid and belongs solely to you. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of data that they provide to MINISFORUM, and MINISFORUM will not be held responsible and will not offer any compensation for any cases involving incorrect information.
  7. User shall have the option to cancel the order only when prior to shipping by contacting our support center. And MINISFORUM reserves the right to cancel the order for operation strategy with prior notice to the user account. However, once the order has been dispatched, the order cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded. Upon receipt of the package, our return policy comes into effect.
  8. User shall be respected to have the option to subscribe or cancel their newsletter subscription upon registration.
  9. Users understand and agree that MINISFORUM shall have the right to temporarily or permanently terminate all or part of the services at any time in accordance with its own business needs (including but not limited to cases like violating the terms and conditions of MINISFORUM, unacceptable and unreasonable comments or behaviors towards MINISFORUM's brand image).
