Compatible with
Intel vPRO

Intel vPRO technology provides hardware-level protection and reduces security risks between virtual machines. vPRO supports hardware acceleration, such as device virtualization for GPUs and sound cards, allowing for more efficient processing of graphics and audio tasks.

10Gbps SFP+

network ports× 2

The MS-01 is equipped with two 10Gbps SFP+ Ethernet ports. The SFP+ modules offer high stability, and the optical fiber transmission ensures network security by preventing eavesdropping and interception.

With a transmission speed of 10Gbps, it is ten times faster than traditional 1000Mbps Ethernet, meeting the demands of high-performance networking devices.

2.5Gbps RJ45

network ports X 2

In addition to the two SFP+ network ports, the MS-01 also features two standard 2.5Gbps RJ45 network ports, providing double the transmission speed compared to a single 2.5Gbps port, enabling enhanced network performance.

The RJ45 network ports offer high compatibility with a wide range of network devices, catering to the needs of general use

USB Port X 2

The MS-01 is equipped with two USB4 ports, which incorporate dual-channel transmission technology, enabling data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps. This doubles the data transfer speed compared to USB 3.2 at 20Gbps.

Additionally, it is capable of building a 20Gbps Ethernet network using USB4 Thunderbolt Bridge technology.

Excellent cooling system.

The small smart fan on top of the SSDIt achieves efficient heat dissipation, reducing the operating temperature of the computer and improving the product's lifespan.

The CPU has two U-shaped heat pipes.
It utilizes a high-speed cooling fan, ensuring stable performance even under high load conditions.

Supports 8K
and triple display

With triple display support, you can simultaneously display more work content, making it easier to switch between multiple windows and improving work efficiency. It allows for multitasking and enhances multitasking capabilities by handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Intel® Core™ i5-12600H / Barebone(No RAM/SSD/OS) / US

Possibly the Perfect OPNsense Appliance

I purchased a refurbished MS-01 with the Intel Core i5-12600H specifically to replace a much larger dedicated OPNsense firewall.

For this application, the MS-01 may be just about perfect.

Two native 10Gb SFP+ ports, two 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, expandable DDR5 memory, and multiple NVMe storage options provide remarkable flexibility in such a compact system.

I'm running OPNsense on a dedicated Samsung NVMe with ZFS. The combination of physical network interfaces and VLAN support allows me to separate my internal network, public-facing infrastructure, and IoT devices without adding network cards or relying entirely on VLANs.

The i5 provides more than enough processing capability for my current requirements, with considerable room for expansion.

Coming from a full-size Acer system, the difference in physical footprint is extraordinary.

BIOS configuration could be more straightforward, but the overall hardware platform is exceptionally well suited to this application.

At the refurbished price, the value is difficult to beat.

If you're building a serious OPNsense firewall, the MS-01 deserves a very close look.

Only had it online for about a week, but it has transformed my home lab experience. I was able to combine my container server, NAS, and build servers into one amazing platform.

Shipping was fast.

Received the item, everything looks good for a refurbished unit. However several of the screws are stripped. Couldn’t get one out for the nvme but was able to slide the bracket far enough to mount one nvme.

Installed memory and os. Everything is working as expected.

I have three ms-01 in my homelab, I've been using these products for a while now.. they are the best

Excellent purchase. I bought three and highly recommend them for anyone starting a home lab. I’m already looking forward to my next purchase.

Five stars all day.

I had to replace the WIFI card it was a generic card but it did not work. I had installed all drivers so I ordered one $12 not a big deal I put 32gb ram in it and now it runs great overall a great product

good-liwenjing

I bought the barebones model. It's wonderful. I use a egpu 3060 12gb with oculink adapter pcie slot . It plays games fine using win 10 ltsc . It was fun setting it up
